This blog post is probably a bit late in coming but I’ve only just noticed that this information is available so I thought I would share it with you. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have linked to my blog, and contributed by commenting and liking my blog posts.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 3,800 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.

What a brilliant idea, Heather – and congratulations. I wish blogger did this!
Thanks for visiting my blog Marilyn and for your feedback. Yes, I must admit it’s the easiest post I’ve ever written. It was all done for me, no pictures to add or anything. I just added a little intro, a few tags and hit publish. It’s a great way to track how your blog is doing and which posts appeal to people. 🙂
That is a great excerpt Heather. I really like WordPress. Hopefully you will get even more visitors this year.
Thanks Guy, I’m so glad I changed to WordPress. It’s much more sophisticated than the blog I was using for my previous website and I’m hoping to develop it in the future so that it becomes more than just a blog. It’s that usual dilemma of too many plans and too little time though. 🙂
Wow, they did a really nice job of this report – it’s easy to browse and very interesting that Twitter was your top referring source. Congrats on all those train loads of people! I’m off to check out those top posts, too.
Thanks Pauline, yes it was a really useful report and it’s always handy to see which posts people find the most interesting. 🙂
